About Marc
Marc Iuliucci has been a dedicated student of music for over twenty five years. Initially given a saxophone at 9 years old, a few years later he was inspired to pursue the instrument to its limit when his high school band directors demonstrated what thoroughly trained saxophonist were capable of. In the background to his saxophone studies, his grandfather taught him to play the ukulele, and marc developed an intense interest in fretted string instruments.

What began as a music education degree, ended in a PhD in chemistry, and all throughout he continued to diligently practice the saxophone, ukulele, and any other instruments he could get a hold of. Ever-fascinated by the art of tone production, Marc refined a method to develop an effortless 4-5+ octave range on the saxophone. During the pandemic he started a saxophone-themed YouTube channel that, to-date, has garnered nearly 80,000 views.

For several years, Marc had to completely stop playing the saxophone in preparation for a much-needed, major oral surgery. Furthermore, this process was interrupted by an emergency brain surgery, to remove a giant benign mass compressing his brain stem. Not one to waste time or miss opportunities, he completely shifted his musical focus to the guitar, making great strides in understanding the harmonic possibilities of the instrument.

Fully recovered and more inspired than ever before to pursue the calling of a musician, Marc founded Marc i Music  to help other musicians develop their abilities as far as they wish to take them.

"In fact, there is only one musical instrument: the mind. The devices we call instruments are just the various interfaces to produce what we hear internally. It is possible to play as many instruments as we are able to master their technical fundamentals. At this point, each instrument becomes like an artist's palette, each offering a different color with which to depict the experience of harmony." - Marc Iuliucci
